Many of our members make the trip every year and have been for quite some time.   Tom Henry will be volunteering his time at the repair barn and Dennis Crispin will be at campground registration.  Don Shoemaker will be sharing stories about his Navion Harvester.  Be sure to stop by and visit them!  You can <a href=\"http:\/\/airventure.org\"><b><font color=\"blue\"><u>click here<\/u><\/b><\/font><\/a> to go to the AirVenture website for the latest information, daily highlights, and full schedule of events. <\/p>\n<h2> About AirVenture <\/h2>\n<p>EAA\u2019s renowed annual Airventure Fly-in Convention showcases in one week what EAA is involved in throughout the year. All of EAA\u2019s year-round activities encourage the open exchange information, discussing new ideas and transferring skills from one person to another from generation to generation. In short, they combine to provide a \u201cgateway\u201d to knowledge and new experiences. Thousands of people fly-in their planes that they own and\/or have built themselves and share their experiences and expertise. AirVenture attracts people from around 60 different countries; in 2011, AirVenture welcomed 600,000 international visitors. As you can see, AirVenture is a meeting place for people from all over the world to come together and share their passion for aviation. At AirVenture, you will find many exhibits, vendors, conferences, workshops, aircraft on display, and much more.<\/p>\n<h2> AirVenture Today <\/h2>\n<p>AirVenture Today is the official daily newspaper for the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Air Show.  We will post links to the daily newsletters here once the air show begins.<\/p>\n<h2> Weather Forecast <\/h2>\n<p>You can check out the latest weather forecast right here on the main page on the right hand side.  As of right now, opening day (the 23rd), and Tuesday (the 24th) look clear and hot, with highs in the mid-to-upper 90s and heat indexes near 105.
