Online Directory Information

It has been a year since we first implemented our Online Member Directory, and we have received a very favorable response from the majority of our members. The Online Member Directory eliminates the need to print a paper directory for everyone, and allows members to access information about other members from anywhere with an internet connection. Since the directory was first created, we have made many improvements to it that make it easier to use. We’ve had many of our members login, fill in their information, and utilize the new directory. We still have a handful of members that have not logged in to the new directory and have yet to update their information. Logging in and filling out your information takes only a few minutes, and allows other members know how to get into contact with you. Furthermore, with the online directory, you can update your information at anytime, so if you get a new phone number, email address, or other contact information changes, you can update it yourself at anytime. Additionally, you can provide information about your aviation experiences, projects, and expertise. The online directory is only accessible by Chapter 569 members, so all information is secure that is stored in the directory.

How to Login to the Directory

1. Go to the Chapter 569 Member Directory at http://eaa569.org/directory.

2. Click on “Login” on the blue bar near the top. Your login information should have been emailed to you last year, but if you lost it, forgot it, or are not sure what it is, just click here. We will send your login information to your email address; it may take up to 12 hours.

3. Once you are able to login in, click on “Edit/Update Your Profile”. You can fill out your contact information and other aviation information. You can also update your password to something easier to remember. Be sure to click on “Update” at the bottom of the page to save the changes to your profile.

4. Upon logging in, you have the ability to view other members’ profiles. You must be logged in to view other members’ profiles. Profiles can be viewed on the main directory page at http://eaa569.org/directory. Click on a member’s name to view their profile; if you are not logged in, it will prompt you to go to the login page.

If you have more questions, comments, concerns, or need help with the directory, there is a guide that can be accessed if you click here. We also encourage you to contact webmaster@eaa569.org and we will be happy to help!

Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, January 19

The next Chapter Breakfast is Saturday, January 19th at the Crete Airport (CEK) from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.  Everyone is invited to join us for some great food, plane talk, and camaraderie — all you can eat! Just bring your appetite and a $4 donation!

And those pancakes and omelets don’t cook themselves! We’re always looking for volunteers to help with the breakfast, even if it’s just occasionally. There are a number of things we can use help with, not just cooking. If you’re interested in helping out, please call Andy Lahr at 402-540-8014.

Also, if you have some outdated sectionals that are cluttering up your flight bag, please bring them to Dennis Crispin. He will be at the breakfast. They are updating the Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge program at the Strategic Air and Space Museum.
