Thank you to everyone who came out to our Chapter Picnic; we had a very good turn-out! Even though it was a little windy, there were still a number of people that were able to fly-in. We also had some great food and a neat presentation by Dennis that made for a nice evening enjoyed by all!

EAA Chapter 327 is hosting their 21st annual fly-in/drive-in breakfast on September 12th. It will be at the Dubuque Regional Airport (KDBQ) from 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m in the KDBQ Blue Skies flight service hanger. There will be pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns. PIC free. We’ve had an ongoing discussion in our Chapter Forum about the topic of a grass strip locally. Earlier this year, Chapter 569 member Tom Johnson mailed out some surveys, but the feedback was poor. However, it seems there may be some renewed interest about this possibility. The Chapter Forum is a great place for everyone to come together and share their thoughts and ideas about this.
