Welcome to EAA Chapter 569

We are a diverse group of individuals with one common bond – an abiding love of airplanes and sport flying. Chapter 569 is located in Lincoln, Nebraska and is a local branch of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

For information about our chapter and about becoming a member, check out our About Us page. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns click here to contact us. Thank you for visiting our website.

DIRECTORY & DUES INFORMATION

Thank you to all of our members who have paid their dues for 2012 so far. We're still waiting on dues from a handful of members. Dues can be paid by clicking here and filling out the form. We ask all new members and existing members who are renewing their memberships to fill out this form. After filling out the form, mail your $20 payment to our Chapter Treasurer. Checks should be payable to EAA Chapter 569. Our treasurer's information is listed on the form.

Also, we created a new online directory recently. The new directory can be found at http://eaa569.org/directory. Chapter 569 members should have received an email with a username and password. Members will need to login to the directory and fill in their contact and aviation information. The personal information members fill in on the directory is only accessible to EAA Chapter 569 members with their username and password. If you are a Chapter 569 member and did not receive a username and password, click here. It is important for members to log in to the directory and fill in their information. We are looking to get away from printing a paper directory. The chapter will save a lot of money if we just use the online directory and do not print out a directory for every member. Click here to read more about the new directory.

We are keeping track of members who have paid their dues for 2012 and have filled out at least some of their contact information on the new directory. Click here to check the list. If you have any questions about dues or the new directory, please email webmaster@eaa569.org.

NHL Hockey Player Flies 700 Miles to Rescue Dogs

David Backes, an NHL hockey player for the St. Louis Blues, made a 700 mile journey to rescue three dogs.  Backes flew with his wife and flight instructor from St. Louis to Houston.  Before he was an NHL star, Backes played hockey in the USHL for the Lincoln Stars here in Lincoln, Nebraska.    Along with his passion for hockey, Backes also has an appreciation for rescuing animals and flying.  According to his flight instructor, he’s well on his way to getting his license.  Click here to read the full article.
