Zenith Open Hangar Days — Sept. 23-24

The 25th Zenith Open Hangar event is taking place September 23 and 24 at their kit aircraft factory in Mexico, Missouri. This is an informal event for Zenith builders and flyers, or anyone who is a Zenith enthusiast. In addition to educational seminars and hands-on workshops, there will be contests, banquet & BBQ dinner, 60’s & 70’s rock-n-roll music with The Highwater Band at the factory, and more. Plan to fly in with your Zenith aircraft and show off your plane in the new Zenith Aircraft Show. B-25 Visit in Yankton — Sept. 17-18

The B-25 “Miss Mitchell” visit and exhibit is taking place September 17-18 at Chan Gurney Airport (YKN) in Yankton, SD. It will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tours available for $5/person; rides are $450 with a minimum of five paid passengers (seats seven passengers). Yankton Breakfast — Sunday, September 18

There will be a fly-in, drive-in, walk-in, dragged-in airport breakfast (always the 3rd Sunday in September) at Chan Gurney Airport (YKN), Yankton, SD on Sunday, September 18. It will take place from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. PIC eat free, adults $5.00; kids 5-10 $3.00; under 5 free. Sponsored by Yankton Regional Aviation Association and Crop Dusters LLC.
