Abilene Fly-In & Pancake Feed — Saturday, May 7

If you’re looking for somewhere to fly for free breakfast, there will be a fly-in and pancake feed on Saturday, May 7 at Abilene Municipal Airport (K78). Breakfast will be from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. and will include pancakes and sausage. There will be aircraft displays, and the airport is also close to area historic sites and the Eisenhower home, library and museum. Click here for more details and contact information.

May Meeting — Tuesday, May 3

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, May 3. Program will feature Jessy Panzer, who will share with us her experience of participating in the Reno Air Races last fall. She flew a Glasair, averaging over 280 mph. Jessy is a corporate pilot and a member of the U.S. Advanced Aerobatic Team. She was mentored by the likes of Bill Stein and Sean D. Tucker and has been on the airshow circuit for several years. She has performed all over, including Oshkosh.

Our meeting will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE) and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
