Wingnuts Flying Circus – Tarkio, MO

The AeroShell T-6 Aerobatic Team performing at the Wing Nuts Fly-in in Tarkio, MO.

The annual Wingnuts Flying Circus Air Show and Fly-in will be at the Gould Peterson Memorial Airport (K57) in Tarkio, Missouri on Saturday, July 9.

July Meeting — Tuesday, July 5

Our next Chapter Meeting will be Tuesday, July 5 at 7 p.m. at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop
(5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE). Program will be Mark Gaffney, FAASTeam Program Manager presenting Fly the Wing – a discussion of Advanced Aerodynamics for General Aviation. This is a refresher as a follow-up to the unfortunate event at the Wayne airport. If you wish to have wings credit, you must attend in person.

We will gather in the parking lot that is on the East side of the hangar that the Tri- Motor was in. Please car pool to minimize the number of vehicles entering the secure area.

Ford Tri-Motor A Success!




Thanks to everyone who came out to see the Ford Tri-Motor this weekend. A big thanks to the volunteers who helped work the event. From 6 years old to 96, you put a smile on a lot of faces. “That was awesome” was often heard from the riders while deplaning. Also, a big shout out to Jon, Tiff and Tom who headed up the event. Your tireless work was much appreciated.
