April Meeting — Tuesday, April 6

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 6. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be at the Duncan Aviation Training Facility (5500 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE). The meeting will be in the same building as our traditional meeting room but at the south end of the same building.

Program to feature Andy Bajc. Andy is an A&P IA. He’s going to give us a tour of the Duncan Aviation A&P Training Facility. He would be the Q/A guy for what it takes to get your A&P, when you should use a certified mechanic and what maintenance you can do yourself.

Newcomers and folks interested in joining our chapter are always welcome at our meetings.

Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, April 17

Chapter 569 Breakfast Note: WX and COVID-19 can impact the breakfast. A decision to hold or cancel will always be posted at least the day before the breakfast. Please check our website and Facebook page before heading out.

Our next Chapter Breakfast will be Saturday, April 17 at the Crete Airport from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Whether you fly-in or drive-in, we look forward to having you join us for another morning of hotcakes and camaraderie. Suggested $5 donation.

Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, March 20



Join us for some green eggs and ham at our next Chapter Breakfast on Saturday, March 20 at the Crete Airport (CEK). Our Chapter Breakfast includes pancakes, omelets, plane talk, and more from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Suggested $5 donation. Whether you are arriving by wheels or wings, travel safe and we look forward to seeing you.

Spring Webinars

EAA is offering a number of Webinars (online seminars) this spring. There is limited space, so it’s important to register ahead of time for them. Some of the topics qualify for FAA AMT and/or Wings Credit. Additional information and registration details can be found here.

March Meeting — Tuesday, March 2

Whisler Aviation Hangar at the Seward Municipal Airport

Our March Chapter Meeting will take place Tuesday, March 2 at Whisler Aviation at the Seward Airport (KSWT) at 7 p.m.

Program to feature Greg Whisler. Greg and his wife Terri own and operate Whisler Aviation at the Seward Airport. Besides all of the typical services an FBO has to offer, they also specialize in the disassembly and transportation of non-flyable or unairworthy aircraft. Greg will share some of these adventures with us.
