Yankton Breakfast — Sunday, September 19

On Sunday, September 19 there will be a Fly-in, Drive-in, Walk-in, Dragged-in airport breakfast (always the 3rd Sunday in September) at Chan Gurney (YKN), Yankton, SD, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. PIC FREE, adults $7.00; kids 5-10 $4.00; under 5 free. Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, September 18

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our next Chapter Breakfast on Saturday, September 18. It will be at the Crete Airport (CEK) from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Everyone is invited to join us for some great food, plane talk, and camaraderie! Just bring your appetite and free will donation!

Chapter Picnic — Sunday, September 12

Our annual Chapter Picnic will be hosted by Holly and Jon Dixon at Shoemaker’s airstrip (NE40) on Sunday, September 12 at 4 p.m. Food at 5 p.m. Oshkosh debrief after.

The location is 2/3 of a mile west of SW 98th St on West Yankee Hill Road. There are two driveways going south. Take the west drive. It’s a long private drive (3/4 mile or so).

Holly and Jon Dixon have been at work making sure that the airstrip and parking are cleaned and ready for aircraft. Fly-ins, be sure to use CTAF 122.8.
