Our next Chapter Breakfast will be Saturday, June 18. Come and join us for some great food and plane talk from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Crete Airport (CEK).  As always, it’s all you can eat at a suggested donation of $4!

Boone RV Day — Saturday, June 18


The annual Boone RV Day in central Iowa will be Saturday, June 18th at Boone Municipal Airport (BNW). The event is focused on builders and owners of Van’s Aircraft and provides a chance to see a large group of flying RVs, visit with pilots, and exchange knowledge. The event also attracts other experimentals, and other aircraft.

The event will begin with coffee and donuts starting at 8 a.m. and a pulled pork sandwich luncheon starting at 11:00 a.m. More information is available at http://www.wcaircraft.com.

The 2016 Nebraska State Fly-In will take place Friday, June 10th and Saturday, June 11th at the Cozad Municipal Airport (KCZD).

It all starts with the pre-show on Friday, June 10th on the airport grounds. This will include dinner and entertainment, including tandem skydiving, free Young Eagle rides for kids 7-17 years of age, helicopter rides, and more. If interested in the prime rib dinner, tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Funds raised from ticket sales will be used to help fund expenses. Tickets are $30 per person, and checks should be made out to “Nebraska State Fly-In” and mailed to Mid-State Aviation: P.O. Box 458 – Cozad, NE 69130.

Saturday, June 11th will be full of festivities, beginning with breakfast from 7 a.m – 9 a.m. for fly-ins. The event will be open to the public from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Off-site parking with shuttle will be available. There will be exhibitors, vendors, air show, and a tribute to all service men and women.
