Here is some feedback from EAA headquarters regarding the Grassroots Tour. Tom Johnson was trying to get them to stop in Lincoln after their stop in Tarkio, MO.
Hi, Tom:
Had the opportunity to chat with Rod about his schedule late yesterday afternoon. We took that weekend and turned it every way we could, trying to find a way to make it work. Unfortunately, with AirVenture looming, EAA in-office commitments and his family schedule, we just couldn’t find a way to get him to Lincoln and back to Oshkosh in an adequate way. Even the visit to Tarkio might be a very limited stop that weekend.
I’m not sure what Plan B might be either, but let’s keep thinking what might work later in the year.
