EAA Chapter 569

If you’re wondering what has been going on with the local grass strip project, check out the Chapter Forum.  Tom Johnson has been continuing to post updates on the project and he would appreciate input, ideas, and feedback.  Whether you are a Chapter 569 member or not, it is free for you to go read and post on the forum.  All you have to do to post is setup an account, which you can do by clicking here.  Click here to view the topic about the local grass strip.  Please note it is a multiple page discussion, so at the bottom of the page on the right you can click on “Next” to go to the next page of posts.  Tom Johnson has put a lot of effort in an attempt to create a local grass strip and has made it clear that only those who help him complete this project will be able to use the grass strip.  Tom has mailed out surveys and received a favorable response that would indicate there are a lot of people who would be interested in this, but beyond that there isn’t a lot of discussion or input being offered by anyone.  Tom has also made it clear that those who are “on the fence” about this and are sitting back and not offering any help or input will not be able to use the grass strip when it’s complete.  It’s easy to post on the forum and show your interest about this project.  If you need help making an account or have any questions about the forum, just send an email to webmaster@eaa569.org.
