We are going to try something new here at eaa569.org. We’re going to have something called a “Topic of the Week”. We will utilize our Chapter Forum and invite anyone who has any interest about the topic to participate in the discussion. All you have to do is click here to register an account, if you don’t already have one for the forum. After registering an account, your account will need to be activated, which may take a few hours. Once your account is active, you will receive an email and then you will be able to login and post your comments on the Topic of the Week.
This week’s topic is about the B-17. As many of you know, the Experimental Aircraft Association’s B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft has begun its 2011 nationwide tour and will be in Lincoln (at the Lincoln Airport – Silverhawk Aviation) on July 12 & 13, 2011. In the Topic of the Week discussion, we are looking forward to hearing about how you plan to take in the B-17 experience, and we’re also looking forward to hearing from anyone who has previous experience with the B-17. Do you plan to take a tour of the B-17? Do you plan to take a ride on the B-17?  We’re looking forward to hearing from you! Click here to go to this week’s “Topic of the Week — The B-17” discussion page. To post your comments, all you have to do is click on “Post Reply”.
