Six months ago, we created a new online directory system. This system required all Chapter 569 members to login into the new directory and fill out their contact information in the system. It’s important to understand a few things about this new system:
- The online directory is only visible to EAA Chapter 569 members. Members must login to the directory to see any member’s personal information. Furthermore, members choose what information they would like to provide.
- We didn’t print out a paper directory for every member this year. This saved a lot of paper and a lot of money.
- All of the information is online right here on the Chapter 569 website. This means members do not have to carry around a directory with them and are able to search the directory and pull up a member’s entry by just typing in their first and/or last name.
- Members contact information can change at any time: when they get a new phone number, a new email address, or move to a new place of residence. Through this online system, they can login and update their information at any time.
- The new directory replaced our online profile system. This new directory allows members to post their information about their airplane projects and update it at anytime, along with their contact information.
If you are a Chapter 569 member, you can go to the online directory at eaa569.org/directory. You will find a list of all members, and you will find that you will need to click on the “Login” button at the top before you can view anyone’s information. After logging in, you also can click on “Edit/Update Your Profile” which will allow you to supply all your information. Remember to click on “Update” after making any changes. We emailed out login information in January, so you will need to login with that.
