The Nebraska State Fly-In in Alliance (AIA) is taking place on Saturday, August 17. It will be taking place all day, beginning at 7 a.m. Airplanes from all across Nebraska, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming are expected for a huge airplane display featuring a P-51 Mustang and a C-47 Skytrain used in Europe by the Army Airfield Trainees trained in Alliance! Free Young Eagles Flights by EAA Chapter 608 (ages 8 – 17). Aerial Displays by Dagmar Aerobatics, Inc., Skyview R/C Flying Club, P-51 Mustang, and the Mile-Hi Skydiving Team. Admission is free to daytime events with donations accepted. Evening entertainment starting at 6 p.m. will have an admission charge and will include the new Disney movie “Planes” at the Sandhills Drive-In. Click here for more information.
