Tarkio Airshow — Saturday, July 11

Make sure you have your calendars marked for the annual Wing Nuts Flying Circus in Tarkio, Missouri. It will be at the Gould Peterson Memorial Airport (K57) in Tarkio, Missouri on Saturday, July 11. Admission to the show is $10 with children 5 and under free. In previous years, the air show has featured several performances including a P-51, Corsair, B-25, Red Bull Helicopter as well as a real Japanese Zero.

It’s noted on their website that vehicles as well as all aircraft flying in will need to be parked on the grass; there will be no hard surface ramp space available.  Pilots should check NOTAMS and use the Control Tower Frequency 119.425.
