Arbor Day Fly-In Breakfast — Sunday, May 1

In celebration of Arbor Day, Nebraska City (KAFK) is hosting a fly-in breakfast on Sunday, May 1 from 8 a.m – 12 p.m. There will be pancakes, ham, juice, and coffee. Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, April 16

Our next Chapter Breakfast will be Saturday, April 16 at the Crete Airport from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Whether you fly-in or drive-in, we look forward to having you join us for another morning of hotcakes and camaraderie. Bring your friends and family!

Sun ‘n Fun 2016 — April 5-10

Sun 'n FunThe world’s second largest aviation celebration is taking place April 5 – April 10.

Sun n’ Fun takes place once a year in Lakeland, Florida, and includes air shows, displays, exhibitors, educational forums, and much more. Florida’s largest annual convention welcomes visitors from over 80 countries, and makes Lakeland Linder Regional Airport the busiest in the world during the event.

  • April Meeting — Tuesday, April 5

    Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 5. We will be continuing our planning for The Guardians of Freedom Airshow. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE).

    AOPA Safety Seminar — Wednesday, April 6

    If you’re interested in brushing up on some of your safety skills, AOPA is hosting a free safety seminar on emergency scenarios. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, April 6 at Bellevue West High School (1501 Thurston Avenue — Bellevue, NE 68123).  The seminar will be from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the main cafeteria.  The seminar is free and no RSVP is required.
