The NE Aviation Trades Association Annual Convention & Agricultural Aviation Exposition is taking palce February 20 – 22 at the Holiday Inn Kearney (110 S 2nd Ave, Kearney, NE 68847). Be sure to ask for the NATA Convention rate ($89.95 with full breakfast, Suites $159.95). Educational sessions and fun-filled events are planned throughout the convention. The Trade Show allows members to visit with allied industry representatives and learn about the newest developments and latest technological advances. Our next chapter meeting will be on Tuesday, February 7 at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE). The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature Mark Musick. Mark co-authored the book Boxes: The Secret Life of Howard Hughes. Some of the Amazon reviews of this book are: “A fascinating book!”, “Five Stars” and “Very thoroughly researched.” Mark will share with us more new stories on Howard Hughes. Newcomers and folks interested in joining our chapter are always welcome at our meetings.
