Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 4. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE). Newcomers and folks interested in joining our chapter are always welcome at our meetings.
There will be a fly-in (or drive-in) breakfast on Saturday, April 8 at Ames (AMW), Iowa. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. PIC eat free, adults $6, and $5 for kids 12 & under. There will be aircraft on display including a P-51 Mustang, a T-6 Texan, and a LifeFlight helicopter. Airplane rides will be available for $20. There will be a Chili Fly-In on Saturday, April 1 at Greenfield (GFZ), Iowa. The event will take place at the Iowa Aviation Museum (located at the airport). “Hot” chili will be served from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12. “Chili-to-go” is also available.
