Our next chapter meeting will be on Tuesday, March 6 at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE). The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Program will feature Wayne Woldt. Wayne lived in Hawaii when growing up, and recently visited family living on the island of Oahu, the location of Honolulu and Waikiki. While visiting, he had an opportunity to fly a Cessna 172 around the island of Oahu. His program will provide background information on flight preparations and the airport, as well as the flight path and aerial pictures along the way. Newcomers and folks interested in joining our chapter are always welcome at our meetings.
You can now show your interest in aviation by sporting a Fly Nebraska license plate. But before you see license plates like the one to the left around, there must be 250 prepaid orders first. The application can be found here, on the last page of our newsletter. If 250 prepaid applications have not been received, your check and application will be returned to you. They are planning to take orders just a few more weeks. Mail the application along with a check for $70 made out to the Nebraska Ninety-Nines to:
