Don’t forget EAA Chapter 1055 fly-in breakfast on Saturday, September 4th and on the 1st Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.  at the York Airport.  Free will donation.

Time: 4:30pm (eat around 5:00pm)

Program: Chapter 569 Picnic

Place: Denton Airfield (NE40) -  Don Shoemaker’s hanger (11115 W Yankee Hill Rd – Denton, NE)

This is a “pot luck” affair so bring a covered dish.  The club will furnish the meat, buns and soft drinks.

Fairbury Fun Fly Day — Sunday, August 29th

The Flying Conastogas Fairbury Fun Fly Day is set for Sunday, August 29th at 1:30 P.M. Hot dogs, brats and table service will be provided and served after the Fun Day event, which will be around 5:00 P.M. Please bring a covered dish and lawn chairs.

Registration Renewal Info

If you own an N-numbered aircraft, you need to check the registration and see what month it was issued. Then renew the registration according to this page.  It’s quick and easy… but important. If the FAA has your current mailing address, they will send you a letter. If you are not sure they have your address, read http://www.aopa.org/whatsnew/regulatory/reregistration.html

Beatrice Airport News

Please note a couple of announcements regarding the Beatrice Airport.  The Beatrice Airport will be closed for a couple days in September, due to a runway seal coat project. More information will be posted as it becomes available. Check BIE NOTAMS. Also, the Beatrice AWOS frequency has been changed to 125.325
