April Meeting — Tuesday, April 2

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 2. Our meeting will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE) and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Program to feature Gary Redding, who comes from an aviation minded family. He will share with us his story.

Spring Webinars

EAA is offering a number of Webinars (online seminars) during the months of March and April. There is limited space, so it’s important to register ahead of time for them. Some of the topics include engine inspection tips, cost-effective maintenance, the Ford Tri-Motor, and many more. Additional information and registration details can be found here.

Free Safety Seminar — Wednesday, March 27

AOPA is hosting a free safety seminar on Wednesday, March 27. The “Chart Challenge” seminar will be at Bellevue West High School (1501 Thurston Avenue — Bellevue, NE 68123). The seminar will be from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the main cafeteria, and will qualify toward AOPA Accident Forgiveness and FAA Wings. The seminar is free and no RSVP is required. Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, March 16

Our next Chapter Breakfast will take place on Saturday, March 16. Everyone is welcome to join us for some great food, coffee, and plane talk. As always, it’s all you can eat for just a $4 donation! The breakfast takes place from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Crete Airport (CEK).

We are in need of volunteers to help out with the breakfasts each month. If you can help out in any way, even just occasionally, please contact Andy Lahr at 402-540-8014. Thank you!
