EAA has a number of Webinars (online seminars) coming up. Some of the topics include home-built inspections, weight and balance, fixing your airplane away from home, and much more. Some of the Webinars qualify for credit in the FAA’s WINGS or AMT awards program. Additional information and registration details can be found here. Webinars are a free benefit for members, but space is limited, so make sure you register ahead of time!

York Breakfast — Saturday, May 4

EAA Chapter 1055 is hosting their next monthly fly-in breakfast Saturday, May 4. The breakfast is at the York Airport from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Free will donation.

Winter will be retiring from UNL in a couple months, where he has taught religious studies for over 40 years. After retirement, Winter will spend more time flying, visiting small towns in Nebraska. Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, April 20


Our next Chapter Breakfast will take place on Saturday, April 20.  Everyone is welcome to join us for some great food, coffee, and plane talk.  As always, it’s all you can eat for just a $4 donation!  The breakfast takes place from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Crete Airport (CEK).

We are in need of volunteers to help out with the breakfasts each month.  If you can help out in any way, even just occasionally, please contact Andy Lahr at 402-540-8014.  Thank you!

Sun ‘n Fun 2013

Sun ‘n Fun, one of the biggest aviation events of the year, is taking place from April 9 – April 14. As always, there are many events planned for each day and lots of people will be making the trip down to Lakeland, Florida.
