Christmas Party — Sunday, December 1

Our Holiday Party in 2010

Our Christmas Party will be on Sunday, December 1 and will begin at 6:00 p.m.. It will take the place of our December Meeting. It will be at the Knolls Restaurant in Lincoln (2201 Old Cheney Road – Lincoln, NE). Click here to print off the reservation form. Please mail-in your reservation now, if possible. The cost is $20 per person, which includes buffet meal, non-alcoholic beverage, tax, and gratuity. Please make checks payable to EAA Chapter 569. You can mail the reservation form and payment to our Chapter Treasurer:

If you aren’t able to mail-in your reservation ahead of time, walk-ins will be welcome. As always, there will be many door prizes along with other festivities. The Christmas Party is always a fun event that is enjoyed by all of our members. It’s a great opportunity to meet the spouses and families of Chapter 569 members and also a chance to socialize with some of our new members that have joined our chapter this year.

Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, November 16

Our next Chapter Breakfast is Saturday, November 16th at the Crete Airport (CEK) from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to join us for some great food, plane talk, and camaraderie — all you can eat! Just bring your appetite and a $4 donation!

And those pancakes and omelets don’t cook themselves! We’re always looking for volunteers to help with the breakfast, even if it’s just occasionally. There are a number of things we can use help with, not just cooking. If you’re interested in helping out, please call Andy Lahr at 402-840-5235. Thank you!

Upcoming Webinars

The schedule for EAA Webinars (web seminars) is out for November and December. EAA has a number of free Webinars that feature a variety of topics. There is limited space, so it’s important to register ahead of time for them. Some of the Webinars qualify for FAA AMT & Wings Credit. Click here for more information and registration details. Audio speakers and a broadband Internet connection are required to participate in the Webinars.

Mark your calendars now for our annual Christmas Party! It will be Sunday, December 1 at the Knolls Restaurant (2201 Old Cheney Road – Lincoln, NE). It will begin at 6:00 p.m. As always, we will have entertainment and door prizes! Walk-ins will be welcome, however, we do ask that you mail-in your reservation ahead of time if possible. Click here for a copy of the reservation form. Please enclose a $20 payment (cash or check) for each meal. Checks should be made payable to EAA Chapter 569. The $20 includes a buffet dinner, a non-alcoholic beverage, tax, and gratuity.
