Young Eagles – Fremont, Nebraska

In conjunction with the Civil Air Patrol Open House at the Fremont Airport on September 20th, Young Eagle rides will be given for around 90 kids.  If you can help out in any way, contact Tom Trumble at 464-3089.  Start time will be 9:30 a.m.

Ford Tri-Motor Story

It’s not too late to go out and ride the 1929 Ford Tri-Motor at Silverhawk Aviation (1751 W. Kearney Ave).  The 1929 Ford Tri-Motor will be here through Sunday, August 30.  Rides on the Tri-Motor are $50 for EAA members, and $60 for non-members.  Flights will leave from the ramp at Silverhawk Aviation.

1929 Ford Tri-Motor Arrives in Lincoln Tomorrow

The Ford Tri-Motor will be arriving in Lincoln, Nebraska at Silverhawk Aviation (1751 W. Kearney Ave) tomorrow (Thursday, August 27th) and will be here from August 27 – 30!  The 1929 Ford Tri-Motor was recently featured in the hit movie Public Enemies.  Rides on the Tri-Motor are $50 for EAA members, and $60 for non-members.  Flights will leave from the ramp at Silverhawk Aviation.  More information is available in our Ford Tri-Motor Info section of the website.

Plan now for the once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a ride thru history in the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Ford 4AT TriMotor airliner.  It all starts tomorrow:  Thursday, August 27th, and goes through the weekend.   Hope to see you there!

Chapter Breakfast – Saturday, August 15th

The next Chapter Breakfast will be this Saturday (August 15th) at the Crete Airport (CEK) from 8:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.  Come and join us for some great food, plane talk, and camaraderie – all you can eat at a suggested donation of $4!  If you’re interested in helping out with the breakfast, it would be greatly appreciated… contact Roger Aspegren at 402-797-5825.
