We had an excellent turn-out for our March Breakfast; let’s do it again! Our next Chapter Breakfast will be Saturday, April 18 at the Crete Airport from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Whether you fly-in or drive-in, we look forward to having you join us for another morning of hotcakes and camaraderie. Bring your friends and family!

Volunteers are part of what make the breakfast possible each month. If you are interested in helping out with the breakfasts, even just occasionally, please call Andy Lahr at 402-840-5235. Thank you!

April Meeting — Tuesday, April 7

Wings Over Nebraska by Vince Goeres Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 7. Our program will feature Vince Goeres, who will talk about his book Wings Over Nebraska which he put together while volunteering at the Nebraska State Historical Society.

Our meeting will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE) and will begin at 7:30 p.m.

………………………………………………………..      		AirVenture 2015 is quickly approaching and it’s not too early to start planning your experience. We’re less than four months away from the world’s greatest aviation celebration which will take place July 20-26, 2015. You can learn more about AirVenture on this page on our website. Advanced ticket sales have already begun for EAA Members and general public as well. A number of Chapter 569 members have been attending this extraordinary event for many years. Tom Henry usually volunteers his time at the repair barn and you can often times find Dennis Crispin at campground registration in the 101 Woods area in Camp Scholler.

York Breakfast — Saturday, April 4

Don’t forget about EAA Chapter 1055’s monthly breakfast on the first Saturday each of each month! The next one will be Saturday, April 4 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the York Airport. Free will donation.
