NE Aviation Symposium – Jan. 25-28

The 25th NE Aviation Council Aviation Symposium and Maintenance Technicians IA Renewal is taking place January 25 – 28 at the Holiday Inn Kearney (110 S 2nd Ave, Kearney, NE 68847). If you book your room by January 3, ask for the NAC rate. The Maintenance Seminar will be FAA approved for those wishing to renew their Inspection Authorization. Pay your 2017 dues

It’s time to renew your membership with the chapter for 2017. It’s important that you pay your dues, as it ensures your membership with the chapter remains active and you continue to be listed on the chapter roster. We ask all members to click here and fill out the online renewal form. Upon completing the online form, please mail your $20 payment to our Chapter Treasurer. Checks should be made payable to EAA Chapter 569.  We prefer members use the online renewal system if possible as this automatically disperses the information to all appropriate contacts within the chapter. However, we continue to offer the paper form for members who would prefer to use that.  You can click here to print off, fill out, and mail in the paper form. You will need to mail the form, along with your $20 payment, to our Chapter Treasurer. Our Chapter Treasurer’s information for 2017 is listed below:

Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, January 21

YES! Our breakfast is on for this Saturday, January 21st. We are sorry for canceling our breakfast last month. Just like when we are planning a flight, a go / no go decision must be made on the breakfast when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. We felt with the slick roads and deteriorating weather conditions, it was in the best interest for everyone involved to cancel. We will always post cancellation notices on our website and Facebook page, and encourage you to check them if the weather looks questionable.

With that being said, the weather looks excellent for our first breakfast of 2017 this weekend.  Come and join us for some great food, coffee, and plane talk.  As always, it’s all you can eat for just a $4 donation!  The breakfast takes place from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Crete Airport (CEK). Whether you are traveling by wheels or wings, be safe and we’ll see you this Saturday.
