Our next Chapter Breakfast will take place on Saturday, June 16. Everyone is welcome to join us for some great food, coffee, and plane talk. As always, it’s all you can eat for just a $4 donation! The breakfast takes place from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Crete Airport (CEK).

The Nebraska Airfest Airshow will take place at the Norfolk Regional Airport on June 16 and 17. There will be events taking place all day long on both days, including airplane rides, skydivers, balloon launches, seminars, and much more. There will be lots of food, including a pancake breakfast. The next Chapter Meeting will be on Tuesday, June 5th. The program will feature Michael Sibbernsen. Michael is the Science & Technology Coordinator, NASA Solar System Ambassador for the Strategic Air & Space Museum at Ashland, Nebraska. Michael will do a presentation on High Altitude Ballooning. He will cover the equipment used and discuss FAA guidelines that he has to work within. He will have videos as well as photos from close to space. Please bring a young student with you as this will be a very good learning experience that can be related to in their school science studies. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE).
