July Meeting — Tuesday, July 3

Our next Chapter Meeting will be on Tuesday, July 3rd. For our program, Chapter 569 member Anne Schutte is going to speak about Cognition and Aviation: Why we do the things we do (or why we should do things the way we’re taught). Our meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE).

AirVenture NOTAM Now Available

The FAA’s handbook for flying to AirVenture, the 2012 Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), has been completed and is now available either in online PDF format or in printed copies available through EAA’s membership services department. The 32-page booklet has several changes from the 2011 Oshkosh NOTAM, including VFR and IFR arrival procedures. Download or order your NOTAM copy.

Pender Fly-In Breakfast

Pender, NE is hosting their Annual Fly-In Breakfast at the Pender Municipal Airport on Sunday, June 24th. It will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Pilots in command eat free. For more information, please contact Paul at 402-380-9882.
