Former chapter member has died

Wallace Peterson, a former Chapter 569 member, has died at the age of 91. Peterson was a professor for 40 years and was involved with EAA Chapter 569 throughout the years as well. He ran in the early 1970s in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. He obtained his private pilot’s license in 1959 and flew for more than 40 years, setting an aviation record in 1989 for landing in all of the capital cities of the western United States.
