EAA Chapter 569

The NEAAA Hamburger Fly-In will take place at the Hastings Municipal Airport (HSI) from 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. There will be authentic Nebraska beef and homemade desserts, along with a raffle for a cooler full of Nebraska beef. The winner will be drawn at the end of the event. The CAF will also be in attendance with their Fairchild PT-19.

Our next Chapter Breakfast will be Saturday, June 21 at the Wahoo Airport (AHQ). It will take place from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Bring your $10 donation for adults ($5 for kids) and join us for a morning of great food and plane talk.

As we settle into our new home, please check our website and Facebook each month for details on the date/time of our breakfasts.

EAA Chapter 569 has organized a fun and educational weekend about flying on floats. Nebraska happens to have a sea base (H63) located at Harlan County Lake, Republican City. We invite you to come out and learn or share about flying on floats. Mother Nature always has the last word in aviation but several of us will be going rain or shine.

Note: There is a Walleye fishing tournament on Saturday May 3rd as well on the North Shore. We are asking our group to remain clear of that group and the North Shore Marina until that afternoon when our group will be going to the North Shore Event Center at 5:00 p.m. THANK YOU!
