February Meeting — Tuesday, February 6

Our next chapter meeting will be on Tuesday, February 6 at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE). Program will feature John Schwery, who will share with us his experience of building and flying a Van’s RV-10. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Newcomers and folks interested in joining our chapter are always welcome at our meetings.

Pay Your 2018 Dues

Thank you to everyone who has paid their dues so far. We are asking all members, new and renewing, to please click here and fill out the online form. Upon completing the form, please mail your $20 payment to our Chapter Treasurer. Checks should be made payable to EAA Chapter 569.

Chapter Breakfast — Saturday, January 20

Our first breakfast of 2018 will take place on Saturday, January 20.  Come and join us for some great food, coffee, and plane talk. Bring your appetite and $4 donation!  The breakfast takes place from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Crete Airport (CEK).

We’re always looking for volunteers to help out at our breakfasts. If you’re interested in helping out at a breakfast or two this year, please contact Harold. His information is available on the Contacts page.

January Meeting — Tuesday, January 2

Our first Chapter Meeting of 2018 will be Tuesday, January 2. Program to feature Harold and Edi Bickford. In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Young Eagles program, EAA is building an AirCam. It will be used to fly Young Eagles at Pioneer Field. Harold and Edi went up to Oshkosh to participate in a build session and will share with us their experience. Our meeting will be at the Duncan Aviation Engine Shop (5000 NW 44th Street — Lincoln, NE) and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
